Junior Sawfish Pilot

Triton Logging, the world’s leading underwater logging company, is currently seeking an experienced Junior Sawfish Pilot. Reporting to the senior sawfish pilot, the position will work within Triton’s forest operations group in Malaysia.

The junior sawfish pilot is responsible for keeping the Sawfish and its control systems properly maintained and operate the Sawfish in a safe and efficient manner to maximize wood production.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Experience in any one or more of the following:
  • ROV pilot/technician
  • Machine operation (excavator, feller buncher, etc);
  • Boat Operation;
  • Commercial diving;
  • Mechanical/hydraulic systems;
  • Electrical systems;
  • Sonar and underwater navigation systems.

• Ability to think spatially
• Outstanding interpersonal skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Basic knowledge of windows based computer programs;
• Able to excel in a team environment;
• Ability to work in all levels of the operation including completing lower level tasks;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Self directed problem solving.
